MUNCH: SIMPLE FOOD DIARY IS NOT A MEDICAL APP. The content generated, stored, or displayed in "Munch: Simple Food Diary" (the "App") is for personal journaling and informational purposes only. It is not intended to provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition or dietary changes.

2. Agreement to Terms

2.1 Standard EULA Applies

This App is licensed to you under the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). By using the App, you agree to be bound by the Standard EULA, which can be found here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

2.2 Supplemental Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") supplement the Standard EULA. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA shall control regarding the license, and these Terms shall control regarding specific App features (subscriptions, content, liability).

2.3 Age Requirement

The App is rated for users aged 4+. However, if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (usually 18), you represent that your legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Description of Service & Offline-First Design

Munch: Simple Food Diary is a personal tool for logging meals and cooking habits.

Offline-First: When you create content, it is stored locally on your device immediately. It remains accessible even without an internet connection.

Automatic Cloud Backup: When connectivity is available, we attempt to automatically sync your data to our secure servers in the background.

Anonymous Access: The App uses anonymous authentication. You do not need to provide an email or name to use the App.

Data Recovery Warning: Since accounts are anonymous, your data is tied to your specific device installation. If you lose your device or delete the App without a full system backup (e.g., iCloud Backup), your data may be unrecoverable.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

The App may offer paid features via auto-renewing subscriptions or one-time purchases ("Lifetime Access").

Payment: Charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change in accordance with App Store policies.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Account Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Lifetime Access: "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Service (the App's availability on the App Store), not the lifetime of the user.

Management: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Settings. We cannot cancel subscriptions or issue refunds directly; this must be done through Apple.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App—including its design, code, and branding—are owned by the developer of Munch: Simple Food Diary. You retain full ownership of the photos and notes ("User Content") you create within the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "AS IS". We are not liable for:

Data Loss: While we provide cloud sync, you are responsible for your device. If you delete the App before sync completes, local data may be lost.

Indirect Damages: We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on its content.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
